Kirk Moon, M.D.

Dr. Moon earned a medical degree at the University of Southern California School of Medicine. He completed his radiology residency and fellowship at the University of California at San Francisco, where he specialized in magnetic resonance imaging.

Dr. Moon is board certified in Internal Medicine and Diagnostic Radiology. He earned a Certificate of Added Qualification in neuroradiology in 1996 and was recertified in 2006. Dr. Moon currently practices at California Pacific Medical Center, where he is chairman of the Radiology Department.

He is a member of the Radiological Society of North America, the California Radiological Society, the American College of Radiology, the Western Neuroradiology Society, and the American Society of Neuroradiology.

Dr. Moon’s work has appeared in the Journal of Orthopedic Research, Radiology, the American Journal of Roentgenology, Magnetic Resonance Imaging, the Journal of Craniomandibular Practice, and numerous other publications.
